  • Support Hanford Football!

THE HANFORD HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM is conducting our Falcon Challenge to generate additional support for our program.  Our team members spend many hours in strength, agility and skill development as we prepare for the competitive season.   We believe the dedication and hard work by our players and staff both on and off the field will lead us to a successful 2018 season.

The expenses for maintaining a quality football program are considerable.  Your sponsorship will benefit all players by helping to offset costs for player equipment, field training equipment, sleds, dummies, video equipment used as a teaching tool and to assist players in college recruiting, as well as other supplemental items for our program.

Please join us in helping to fulfill the goals and dreams of our student-athletes as we participate in an exciting season.  Thank you for supporting the Hanford Falcon football program.  Your support makes a BIG difference!

  • Horner throws for 5 TDs, Hanford sweeps aside Walla Walla

Hanford quarterback Garrett Horner (5) drops back to pass during a 2016 game against the Kamiakin Braves at Fran Rish Stadium. The Falcons went on the road to beat Walla Walla 24-6 on Friday night.

Garrett Horner was nearly flawless, completing 25 of 31 passes for 367 yards and five touchdowns, as the Hanford High School football team stormed into Walla Walla on Friday night and came away with a 42-6 victory.

The Falcons flexed their depth, with nine different players catching passes and 13 of them recording either a rush or a pass. Jared Devine continued his dynamic play out of the backfield, picking up 182 yards from scrimmage on 20 touches and scoring on a 15-yard scamper in the second quarter.

Darin Ongers did his best to jump start the Blue Devils offense early, racing 65 yards in the first quarter to open the scoring. But Walla Walla (0-3, 0-1) did little with the ball after that, gaining just 231 yards on the night compared to Hanford’s 517.

Horner found Dimitri Kennedy-Woody in the end zone twice in the second quarter to help the Falcons to a 28-6 halftime lead. Thomas Kitchens also had two touchdown grabs — 39 yards in the first quarter and 19 in the third — and had game highs with seven receptions and 128 yards.

Colton Bozich intercepted two passes for Hanford and Drezdyn O’Daol-Lyons made a pick as well. Damian Fraga made all six of his PAT attempts.

  • Hanford firing on all cylinders in 41-0 rout of Davis

    By Jeff Morrow

    Special to the Herald

Friday’s season-opening football game for the Hanford Falcons couldn’t have been more perfect.

The Falcons had six different players score touchdowns on offense, and the Hanford defense pitched a shutout en route to a 41-0 victory over the visiting Davis Pirates at Fran Rish Stadium.

But Falcons coach Brett Jay is a perfectionist, and come Monday his team will have plenty of things to work on in practice — starting with the penalties.

The officials threw 13 yellow flags against Hanford, worth 111 yards. Many of those were offensive holding calls that stalled out drives that would have made the game an even bigger blowout.

  • Advertise on the Hanford Sports Poster!

    Falcons Sports Poster

On behalf of Hanford High School Athletic Programs, we would like to invite your business to advertise on our seasonal sports posters.

For this annual project, we print 100 posters per season: fall, winter, and spring. We would then distribute them to businesses, fans, and parents throughout our community and beyond.

Your choice to advertise on our high-quality sports posters will provide you widespread advertisement to local businesses, families and the entire community. Hanford Boosters organizes and prints the posters so your sponsorship will more directly impact the athletic programs at Hanford High School.
